Springdale, Maryland – Saturday March 16th, 2019 Lambda Gamma Gamma (LGG) Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Fort Meade, Maryland) hosted its Annual Talent Hunt event. The event was held at Charles H. Flowers High School in Springdale, Maryland and was themed, “…a Stage Full of Stars!” Brother Antonio Ferguson served as LGG’s 2019 Talent Hunt Committee Chair and executed another stellar event. The Second District Chaplain and LGG member, Brother Dwain Harrell served as this year’s MC. “This year’s Talent Hunt was extremely competitive, and the contestants did a superb job in their performances!”, indicated Bro. Antonio Ferguson, Talent Hunt Chairman.
This year’s judges consisted of; Mr. Willie Bradley (Jazz musician), Dr. Leroy Barton, Ms. Petra Martin, Mrs. Chante (Crawford) Pittman, and Ms. Kayla Waters
The Talent Hunt showcased sixteen (26) contestants varying from grades 9th thru 12th performing in the categories of vocal, instrumental, dance, drama, and visual arts.

The following contestants will be representing the chapter in the 2nd District Talent Hunt which will held at the Schwartz Center for the Arts in Dover, Delaware during the 71st Second District Conference Talent Hunt which will be held on Saturday April 27th, 2019. These contestants will compete with local winners in the Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware Talent Hunt contests for the chance to win $5,000.00 and an all-expense paid trip (for the contestant and their family) to be featured on our International Talent Hunt Program Guide & media.
