Chapter Lineage

Lambda Gamma Gamma has a rich history albeit short in the lifespan of Omega.  The chapter contributions have been many but most of all consistent as a member of the 2nd District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  The chapter has the honor of having among its ranks, Grand Counselor, Bro. D. Michael Lyles, Esq.,  two (2) Second District Representatives (Bro. James Hicks, Jr., 33rd 2nd District Representative and Bro. Sherman Charles, 35th 2nd District Representative and Grand Keeper of Records and Seal),  2nd District Graduate Chapter of the Year (4),  District Omega Men of the Year (6), International Citizen of the Year (Bro. Michael Jackson), International Founders Award Winners and the fraternity’s first International Colonel Charles Young Award winner for leadership as well as many other 2nd District and International awards.  LGG also has the distinction of being awarded the International Graduate Chapter of the Year Award on several occasions.

LGG’s greatest contribution to the folds of Omega is her sons.  We are proud to have Bro. Phillip Edmonds (LGG 2002) as the chapter’s first LGG initiated Basileus as well as other LGG initiated brothers who have served in leadership and committee support positions currently and throughout the years.
