Greetings, Patrons of LGG,
The Lambda Gamma Gamma (LGG) Chapter (an unincorporated association of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.), in conjunction with The Uplift Foundation, has scheduled our annual Mandated Program Talent Hunt 2025 event. This year's theme is LGG's Spotlight on Talent! All local District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia high school students in grades 9 - 12 can register and audition using the links above.
This year's award will total $2,250.00 in prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category.
Here is what you need to know and what you need to do to participate. Please adhere to the critical information below for participation:

All Talent Hunt 2025 events listed here take place at Charles Herbert Flowers High School, 10001 Ardwick Ardmore Road, Springdale, MD 20774:
First Audition 2/15/25 (10 AM-1 PM)
Second Audition 2/22/25 (4 PM-7 PM)
TH2025 (GO-LIVE) 3/1/25 (9 AM-6 PM)
The Talent Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and light refreshments and lunch will be served. Judges will help with adjudication and selecting the winners. The Talent Hunt committee will notify the winners in each category.

Share the link to preorder the LGG Talent Hunt 2025 Digital Program Guide; the cost is $10. All students/participants will be featured in the Digital Program guide.
Performing arts students in the following areas are encouraged to audition:
Instrumental and Vocal: Including classical, semi-classical, Broadway musical, production, movie score, gospel, and jazz.
Hip-Hop: For the first time in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.'s Talent Hunt history, clean, radio-edited rap is permitted under the category of dramatic interpretation. Hip-Hop dance is also allowed alongside ballet, modern dance, and tap.
Drama and Visual Arts: Covering sculpture, photography, drawing and painting.
This exciting expansion of categories reflects the fraternity's commitment to embracing diverse artistic expressions.
The overall winner in the performing arts & visual arts categories will have the opportunity to participate in the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., 77th Second District Talent Hunt event in Buffalo, NY on April 12, 2025. The location is the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Conference Center and occurs during the 77th Second District Conference.
This Second District Talent Hunt event will encompass students competing from Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
If you are selected as the first-place or the second-place winner you will be required to travel to perform or present in Buffalo, NY. Travel accommodations will be provided to the winners selected to represent Lambda Gamma Gamma.
The Talent Hunt Program of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., is a mandated program that has reached thousands of students, many of whom have made outstanding contributions to their communities and our world. Many have earned scholarships, awards, and recognition through exposure to this program. Interested students are encouraged to register before the deadline above.
